LP/Propane prices are market price comparisons based on the following:
• Telephone inquiries for residential LP purchases, 250-gallon minimum.
• If prices from a vendor vary depending on their customer status, price quote assumes a keep-fill customer with a leased tank.
Note the spread between the lowest retail price in the region (i.e., $1.599) and the highest (i.e., $1.749), although it has nbarrowed in recent months, where the chasm was once more than 35 cents per gallon. The high price was checked twice on two separate occasions to confirm; the quoted price is NOT the "will-call" price this vendor has been known to use.
